Baglio Strafalcello
Wedding
Introduction & Objective
Francesca and Antonio arrived with a clear image in their hearts: to get married in a 19th-century Sicilian baglio, in the middle of winter, and to shape a wedding that reflected their soul and their connection to nature. Their desire was for an atmosphere immersed in greenery—intimate, enveloping, and emotionally engaging, yet balanced and elegant. The design objective was to translate this vision into a coherent concept, respectful of the season and the historical identity of the venue.
Design & Execution
The work began with a mindful reinterpretation of the space: bringing nature indoors, but in a sophisticated key. Enveloping foliage, floral compositions in shades of magenta, cappuccino, and dusty rose interacted with the ancient architecture of the baglio, enhancing its volumes without overpowering them. Completing the setup, crystal chandeliers, golden details, and a luminous, minimal mise en place gave rhythm and harmony to the overall design. Throughout the event, each space guided guests through a fluid narrative, balancing materiality, light, and atmosphere.
Outcome & Satisfaction
The result was an elegant and engaging winter wedding, successfully blending aesthetic vision with functionality. Francesca and Antonio recognized in the project an authentic synthesis of their desires, experiencing the day with serenity and fulfillment. A measured yet intense story, where every choice had meaning and every detail spoke of them.
