Wedding

Introduction & Objective

Selene and Vincent are an international couple, both born in New York yet deeply connected to their Sicilian and Turkish roots. Their decision to marry in Sicily stemmed from a desire to return to an authentic and intimate dimension, celebrating their love in a place capable of hosting a meaningful and heartfelt wedding. They were looking for a special setting, far from excess, one that spoke of roots, landscape, and emotional truth.
From the very beginning, the project objective was clear: to transform a place already rich in beauty into an elegant, coherent, and deeply felt experience, where every choice would be a natural consequence of both the environment and their story.

Design & Execution

The design process began with listening to and engaging in dialogue with the location: an early 20th-century baglio immersed among vineyards on the hills surrounding Scopello, with views of Mount Erice and the Cornino Bay on one side and the Gulf of Castellammare on the other. The venue—also chosen to host both the ceremony and the reception—already evoked strong emotions for the couple, especially through the colors of the surrounding nature.
From here came the decision to work with a restrained palette of whites and greens, in continuity with the landscape, and with essential setups, refined in materials and details.

The ceremony took place on a garden terrace with an ancient fountain, accompanied by the warm light of sunset over the bay; the dinner, held in the inner cloister of the baglio, a space with timeless charm, was illuminated by candlelight and a starry sky, creating an atmosphere of intimacy and romance. The cake cutting, outdoors beneath a rosette of traditional Sicilian lights, concluded the story with a clear reference to local culture and tradition.

Outcome & Satisfaction

The result was an elegant and authentic wedding, where every moment naturally blended into its surroundings, creating a harmonious and enveloping experience. The couple recognized in the project a sensitive interpretation of their wishes, feeling fully represented in every choice, while both international and Sicilian guests experienced the day as an emotional journey through landscape, light, and tradition.
A wedding conceived through a contemporary Sicilian lens, capable of impressing without excess, and expressing the value of a thoughtful, respectful design, deeply connected to the place and the people who inhabit it.
